a photo I took to support the DA PiNKiTUDE contest but decided to go with another photo.
This photo is in support of Breast Cancer research, but having gone through Uterine cancer I feel its important to me to give all damsels back their femininity and self-awareness. Cancer is a hard thing to go through because you become a test subject and feel so dehumanized in the treatments and expenses that it's easy to become a victim. Well I am a survivor, there was no Prince Charming but I have to believe that the cure would take his place any day!
The cat-eared lolita headband I am holding as this reminder to all the damsels out there is my creation. It has a pink cat design cotton fabric and edged with pink lace, and the ears are soft black fleece with the same print. There is also a ton of ribbon both pink and checked as well as black to match it. *clutches the cute to my chest*
